October 30th. Had a successful walk from Dunbar to Barns Ness. Best bird was a lifer Merlin but I also had: Whooper Swan, good numbers of Grey and Golden Plover, first Purple Sands of the autumn and lots of winter migrant thrushes. @birdinglothian.bsky.social #birdinglothian #birdingscotland
