Here we have someone saying children need to build resilience while literally opposing efforts to improve children's resilience. What he really means, of course, is not that children should be resilient but that they should be subservient and default to doing what older people tell them.
Show PostThe same people who oppose age-appropriate sex education for children, which is proven to help children identify and avoid abusive situations, also oppose public information explaining consent. It's almost as if people on the reactionary right want children to be more vulnerable to sexual assault.
