just had the experience of hearing ambient jazz/blues-ish music in a shop, noticing how long and repetitive and not really about anything it was, idly wondering if it was AI-generated, and looking it up to discover yes, it’s AI-generated. Aural slop turns out to be a lot like visual and textual slop
