There’s a Moroccan place in Portland I love. I like most cuisines, and most foods, though am mostly pescatarian now (Prestroke). I picked up a chicken breast to make tomorrow to see how taste impacted. I haven’t eaten meat since I think April?
Show PostAnd suggest away. I’m rewiring my palate and you seem to be a foodie also. Vietnamese used to be a fave but had a vermicelli bowl recently that tasted wrong. I’m worried about going to my favorite Peruvian place until my mouth returns to normal. Would break my heart if it ruins taste.
Show PostI’ll give them a try next time I see em. Chips used to be my downfall but since stroke I don’t like crunch as much. I’ve turned to salads more, like potato, beet, couscous broccoli just as a need for a side. Theres a halal store near me and is my goto.
Show PostI’ve seen those but can’t recall. Tim’s is everywhere so started there. I’ve always loved jalapeno and was glad was in hospital when they were dangerous to eat because I knew my odds of having a bad one were high. I eat them in everything; eggs, tuna and chicken salad, Mac and cheese, u name it.
Show PostIn Speech therapy was relaying my swallow function and talked about how my tastebuds have changed and I like things I used to dislike and vice versa. Was told to “shock“ my tastebuds with spicy flavors. So fuck you Tim’s Jalapeño potato chips. It’s not overeating, it’s homework!
