I hadn’t been to the butcher since before surgery so it’s been almost two years. They hugged me. Didn’t charge me for my purchase. Sometimes there’s community in the oddest places. ❤️ Time to make this ginger braised beef stew.

Lucy lived almost two full years when her species has an average lifespan of eleven months maximum. Two days ago she ate a roach almost as big as her abdomen, and has now died on Halloween. Lucy was life goals, and I am gonna miss her.
