and before even his first midterm in 2018 Trump was revealed to be using not only an unsecured Android phone but also the exact same type of private email addresses that Clinton had used. and we know from the Mar-a-Lago raid he and his team were much less circumspect about record-keeping practices!

Clinton at least pretty clearly broke the rules but the conduct Peltola has been accused of is not against any laws or rules. Just something they suddenly decided would be a huge scandal if it were true and are now choosing to dominate coverage with. (they're choosing that because they like Trump)

Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice both used private email addresses identical to Clinton's setup, as had many other members of the Bush administration. This was not covered as a scandal for any of them. So sort of makes you wonder if the media actually cared about the email security/records issue

Similar to the Hillary Clinton email scandal, if they cannot find a scandal to tar Dems with, they will take something that had been widely accepted and then present it as if its suddenly a taboo scandal. That's because the media like Trump and want to help him tyrannize us. His little helpers!
