Now I think this is proving to be quite a shock to the system. The dominant narrative or fable is of politicians being completely rubbish, superficial, untrustworthy etc etc etc.

We go to our locally owned coffee shop. All the baristas know our order. Why? Because they’re human beings who pay attention & chat with us.
