One thing I'm keen to do this winter is get back out and look for some owls. This is a young little owl fledging the nest but barn owls are top of my list this winter.

Almost didn't trap, but was at the in-laws place in North Somerset and it was their electricity so... 17:9 included my 2nd Cypress Carpet of the year and several Epirrita. Non-moth highlight was a Great Silver Water Beetle. Absolute unit. #TeamMoth

Popped in to see the un-boxing of the @rspb.bsky.social Lakenheath #teammoth trap this morning. Much better results than my meagre home trap, but 🎵 All in all, it's just another brick in the wall 🎵 🧱 In fact 6, all quite variable Bricks in all. A new Moth for me I’m pleased to say.
