I think there may be no better rebuttal to the claim that people no longer read than the utter panic that has ensued with the announcement that Archive of Our Own (AO3) will be down for the next 2-4 weeks.

AO3 being down got me thinking about how I should've done more maintenance with you. I left you for 2-4 weeks at a time, and now all I've got is the archive of our own relationship in my head. We went from friends to lovers to enemies. Perhaps we dont have to leave this story orphaned.
