The thing that I think you have to be concerned about is these people have demonstrated in '18 and '22 that they just don't show up if trump isn't on the ballot, and so now the weakness isn't hiding strength, they're actually just about to get mauled because low propensity voters have turned on them

One of the things that misled people in 2016 and 2024 was crowd sizes, as Trump's crowds were kind of meh no matter what. But that's because his strength as a political candidate comes with people who just don't go to rallies. It's the same thing as the polling.
