We humanely let our pets go but we make grandma who can't remember who we are wither for years in a care home that cost so much that everything grandma and grandpa had and worked their whole life for is gone. Death is not the worst thing that happens. Dignity is a better choice.

I think assisted suicide when dealing with a deadly illness is the most humane thing ever. People should have that choice and not be shamed for it. May she rest well.
