I don't think anyone would've even noticed or cared that VRU was using AI to help build their worlds had they not seen fit to make it a gesture in a larger "culture war". It just turns out, the culture war in question is against many of the same struggling creatives your community wishes to attract.

Sure, I don't think every single person who's ever used AI has a hatred for the independent creative scene. But if you're running a space whose purpose is to showcase human creative endeavors, or to encourage human creativity, it seems like such a mistake to have AI feature so heavily there.

It's disappointing seeing a community you once held in high esteem falling victim to a mindset that is fundamentally at odds with the independent creatives they claim to support. Shameful to see they already intend to misuse a "human-created" tag because, well, a human *was* involved...a little!
