However, I do think an overall blanket ban on Generative AI content would be good, even bad actors exist, they would definitely be called out eventually- even if it does take Itch a month at least to answer an email.

I've gone over it in my head a few times, and I honestly can't think of a way other than the community taking that ban seriously and moderating that themselves. Which is hard when anyone with a verified email can just upload onto Itch, however that is a massive strength for Itch, too.

Yeah, for sure. I feel the same about Zero’s mind control drugs too because so much of the background of the game is setting up their distribution. But its like man. They have always loved their mind control lmao

Like I'm thinking about the final chapter in SC and how Joshua and Kevin make a big plan to try and circumvent Weissmann's mind control of Joshua and then comparing that to the mind control arcs in CS4 and Reverie and it's night and day even though it's all about mind control
