30 October 1939 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Selma Henriette Lievendag, was born in Hengelo. In October 1942, she was deported to #Auschwitz. After the selection, she was murdered in a gas chamber together with her older brother Johan.

On this day in 1920, a Czech Jewish woman was born. A student, on 13 Jul 1942 she was deported to Theresienstadt with her parents and three siblings, and on 25 Aug 1942 to the Malý Trostinec extermination centre, where they were all murdered. Her name was Vlasta Brumlová.
