No it's not that obvious; many pups I know and myself included, the first days of using the app thought that "alpha" meant you're the alpha of a pack, not that you just bought a subscription. And this would be even more confusing when all the free premium trials will end.
Show PostPlus, the app has the "pack" function; which basically is just a group chat, which you can't use if you have the free tier, and...if you had one, and then you'll stop paying, you'll lose all your "pack" chat.
