Isn't it funny how there's only 2 commandments in the New Testament and obeying those would not only prevent much hatred but as a bonus, allow one to enjoy a shrimp cocktail without committing a sin?

Eh, given how old the dirty old book is, how often it's been translated, and how poorly some translations have been done... I'm more willing to believe the intentions started off good and 2000 years of telephone kinda just corrupted it.

Last I checked some biblical scholars think the quotes supposedly relating to gay sex have been mistranslated and actually relate to pedophilia. One of the words assumed to mean "man" actually means "boy". Romans had a tradition of high status men having sexual relationships with young boys.
