and lament of innocence is a game i am very fond of but don't really like playing for similar reasons. but i think curse of darkness iterates on it really well even if i still can't say it's quite there

there is a lot of really cool stuff in that game but that one issue makes it so hard to get through for me... i'm around 60% of the way through it and i'll finish it but i do feel like i'm dragging myself through it a little. which is so sad bc so much of it is so cool...
