No idea how much this will effect the Alaska race specifically, but the fact that the Federal govt is trying to preemptively decertify an election and the response from the Fourth Estate has been squealing, incandescent joy is something of a Suboptimal Indicator for democratic viability.

I’m actually optimistic that this federal meddling in the Alaska election will piss of voters and backfire. They are a very independent electorate. If there is one thing that Alaskans of all persuasions dislike, it is the feds getting all up in their business.
