For the avoidance of doubt: this applies significantly less to the current UK foreign secretary, who I admire more than pretty much any other major British politician of his generation, than it does to the UK centre left as a whole (and I speak as someone who’d identity as on the UK centre left).

Real moment of returning to fitness this morning after my July virus that wiped me out for several months. Not only did I complete parkrun this morning without any walking breaks (I still can’t do my weekly long run without breaks), but I finished it with my fastest time since May!!
