Finally admitting it may be over this season, I pulled one of my two rows of toddler tomato plants this morning. I have a big tray of very unripe green ones in the garage awaiting chutney production, but still plenty of hopefuls now in a warm place. What a year! And the bigger row still to go.

Watching the gymnastics World Champs, which - as always - is an awe-inspiring demonstration of strength, grace and control. Interested to see that it's not just the cycling peloton that has embraced the 'chock's away' moustache...!
