I'm a few years younger but same order of magnitude. I started in I/T in 1981. My favorite memory is our first mainframe had 256KB of memory with wires in the back. IBM Assembler was my favorite language back then (a very long time ago!).

I learned when I was a kid that Venom's roars in Spider-Man 3 utilized the sounds of Tasmanian devils. Now I see what they meant.
