I actually do not know what's going to happen. I *fear* what *might* happen, and believe that the bad outcome is more likely because of the candidate, but I'll be glad to be wrong.

His campaign made some choices that voters didn't like. That's politics, and Michigan should understand that, especially after 2016 and 2024.

I think this is exactly right. I also think that he was predicted to win by 15 points in the primary, and then won by a point says that maybe the polls now are too optimistic for him.

I really want him to win, but I think if he does then Bluesky is going to have some really awful takes about what kinds of candidates can win nationwide in 2028.
