A lot of people seem to have internalized Republican critiques that the New York Times is liberal. It is center-right. It speaks for a particular definition of the Establishment. I hope this reduces your cognitive dissonance.

Gotta get this off my chest. I grew up politically trusting the New York Times and the Washington Post as primary sources of important reporting. Subscribed to both for years. They still do occasional good work on other subjects, but I no longer trust either of them when it comes to politics.

congrats on another straw man defense of the msm. the times itself notes in its story that this occurrence is in line with other races. the only reason they gave it prestige placement was because trump and the gop have been pissing the bed over alaska. and the times loves an october hit on dems.
