Speaking of, a thing I learned a bit ago: there's no blood spray animation in the game files. Which is wild, right? There's so much blood spray effects in the game. But I realized: they just recycled their explosion effects and made them red in-engine.

Shadow of the colossus should definitely be some sort of standard for games where you fight big monsters, because even the two small ones you fight are great challenges

pretty approachable, makes starting out a bit easier/makes the more intricate weapons a bit more streamlined. overall i think its pretty fun but if you're looking for a challenge just stick with the earlier ones. if it doesn't stick its cool, it's only animals 🦔🦒🦘
