Agreed. Watching Patrick and Ian's friendship was beautiful and somehow created oxygen in a stale world. Beautiful soul, his loss will be felt for a while.

He was a model of what true masculinity is; vulnerable, non-toxic, kind, supportive. When I started transitioning, through two gender-affirming surgeries I've already been through, I held in my heart that example. And perhaps it's parasocial, but I feel like I've lost a treasured uncle, or father.
