The thing is, they deny that’s the case. For their ideology to even be remotely tenable it *must* be the case that everything that keeps this platform running was meticulously hand coded, and everything that breaks it is due to the foolish employees getting scammed into using AI, which doesn’t work.

A Theory of mine. The old internet that was full of different forums partially died because of the time cost of operating a forum in a secure way. It was easier to let big corporations like Facebook assume the burden. And it's why the internet is like it is now.

Being anti-AI coding in games makes zero sense. With AI you can quickly make amazing, customized tools and engine code for your team that were cost prohibitive to make before, and these tools empower real artists, designers and programmers to make better games.
