I prefer a physical book, but I buy digital for the convenience. If I really loved a book in digital format, I will usually later buy it as physical because we all need to get uncomfortable with the idea that digital media is easily taken from us and made unavailable. #booksky #bookishQOTD

I'm here to buck the trend and tell you that I dog-ear like a mofo. I book is to be loved, and love leaves its mark, its imprint. I do collect vintage books for the cover art that I keep in plastic sleeves and never, ever touch, but if it's new and bought to be read... #booksky #BookishQOTD

I much prefer a physical book unless it's something huge and unwieldy like the diaries of John Evelyn. It's great that so many out-of-copyright books are available as digital books. Helps with storage 😆

I'm a bookmarker. In my youth, it was a blank sheet that I'd write any new words on. Then I'd make flash cards. In retrospect, fueling my pedantry probably wasn't the best choice. Helped in the SAT's and GRE's though. My dog-earing aversion is just me being precious though. Dog-ear away. #booksky

I prefer physical books, but decided that mobility (i.e. the ability to move around the world, inexpensively) was a more important life choice than having a library with a rolling ladder. (Someday, maybe!) Now I'm trying to buy all my ebooks from sources that let me keep the epub or pdf file. #Trust
