More than 862,000 people had voted before polls opened on Thursday morning. The previous record for a non-presidential election was in 2018 when 855,711 people cast ballots during the entire early voting period. On Saturday at 2:00 pm, Talarico and Hinojosa will be in Houston for a GOTV rally.
