So yeah, tl;dr, that fucking ruled. Easily the best Ken Russell film I've seen, and a great way to spend a Halloween evening.

In all seriousness, that was INTENSE. That was a RIDE. This is neither the first nor the last film to show how witch hunts are mostly just a facade for both secular and holy forces to pursue their petty grievances and ambitions, but few of those films go as buck wild with it as The Devils.

stewart little is a crazy movie now because its still bad but you cant even focus on that because if you see five minutes of it all you will be able to focus on is the sets and the lighting. it was the end of history and hollywood used to make dogshit look so good
