I would make the fine nearly the full value of the company just to see how long it lasts and then bankrupt it completely

The property should be seized by the government. They should be made to pay for the replacement of the trees and banned from buying property in the future.That would teach them a lesson.

I was wondering what actual repercussions Finland would take. Pretty sure they have no fucks left, with US actions re Ukraine and Russia being so awful. Finland's neighbors.

Fines are not the way. Removal of operating permits, force the reinstatement of the destroyed amenity and get out of the country.
