i don’t think it’s ever been “too many games” that hurt this industry… but flooding spaces with low value low effort pointless noise does cost us, and that’s very much what AI generated stuff is doing rn. like this isn’t even about gatekeeping anymore. its about prioritizing survival.

this seems dire in ways hard to fit into a character limit, but i think a stronger stance against AI created games, or at least deprioritizing them somehow, would make a big difference. i think indies, and players, should come first. AI slop is neither. we need coordinated effort against this.
