Y'know who still has a bright future in Michigan politics? Mallory McMorrow, who was likely deeply unfairly hurt by false pollsters but who still ran a great campaign, dropped out when she saw no path to victory, endorsed Abdul, & then has continued working hard this fall both for Michigan & Dems.

Abdul is so manifestly talented as a politician, the only reason not to support him is bigotry. That’s really all there is. Bigotry and comfort with bigotry and a preference for aligning with bigots. The rationale around it are just so much fancy rhetorical window dressing.
