i think that it is fascinating that the DOJ is trying to admit as evidence the story they leaked to the NYT because the evidence they had was not admissible in court.

And part of my vehemence against the access journalism class is because, well, they're threatening the Republic, and thus a civil war that runs into tens of millions of deaths. Really bad stuff! I think it's pretty reasonable to react strongly when that sort of thing is threatened.

Huh I didn't know the setting was only followers can comment. I am of two minds. I'm probably unusual for Bluesky and certainly millennials as being a paper subscriber of not one but two newspapers. I support journalism! But, I cannot help but notice the pattern in coverage of Trump in particular
