Third century Roman sarcophagus depicting the myth of Hippolytus and Phaedra, now in the crypt of the Cathedral of San Gerlando in Agrigento, Sicily. It came to the cathedral in the early 1700s and was used as the font (it's huge, it's more like a bathtub) for a time. #FontsOnFriday #FindsFriday
