I’m so happy that this book is finally coming out. It’s been my passion project over many years. It also gave me the opportunity to visit places along the entire length of the Danube, including by bike (though I didn’t manage to cycle the whole distance sadly).

You can't treat medieval maps like modern ones. And one of the least useful thing you can do with a medieval map is try to georeference it. That said...for funsies I drew a map of the Mediterranean, and then overlayed the 13th C. Psalter Map onto it. It's like watching two worlds collide! Enjoy
