Whenever I hear it used, tonally "mashallah" is always right anyway. But because I'm a white person and British, it always feels like I'm responding to a compliment with "thanks, Allah willed it 💅💅"
Show Postwell there is the 'alhamdulillah' which alot south asian uncs misuse. it's kinda meant signify gratitude and humilty but the uncs are using it after they'v had a massive moan and a bitch and a complain... and then they stick an alhamdullilah at the end of it, as if to taper it down!
