To clarify, e6ai is Varka's pet project. I think saying that e621 is complicit in this is stretching the truth a bit. They are both owned and hosted by the same company, but they are operated by different groups. The e6 team has taken many anti-ai stances and tried to enforce them over time.

this is one thing i do not like about the way our fandom is trying to deal with genAI. someone with a platform and bad information gets worked up about something and it ruins the day of someone with no hand in the actual problem. we cant be doing friendly fire, and we gotta think about what we say

anyways theres a lot of reasons someone could want their art taken down from e621 specifically so i Get it. just sucks seeing people constantly moving art sites, making their own art look worse for an average viewer, and generally hurting their reach for discovery for whats imo little gain. fuck ai!
