I think the fundamental disconnect is a lot of people who advocate for this shit (aside from their soul being LinkedIn coded) fundamentally see games as product/content & not creative work/art It is of little value to them at a personal cultural level and just device used to accrue money & attention
Show PostTo Tim Swindle & the douche he's qt'ing, games were never craft. They were a product meant to accrew money. It's just chaff that is pushed out and money is given in return. They think its revolutionary because they think it lowers the barrier to money. Its... grotesque in its most literal definition
Show PostAnd it also highlights they see no difference between ideas and execution and creative direction. and since both have no value of course they think AI is good because it just allows them to sidestep all that and rush towards """"product"""" and thus money
Show PostAnyways I'm gonna try to do an article soon. I'm just in a lot of pain and need money to dig my way out of the debt hole caused by being poor and disabled
Show PostPeople think because you're disabled, they're better than you and entitled to harm you because of it. And then they do. Never mind that the illness itself is already like a 10x multiplier on the difficulty of being alive, but they make it worse when they don't have to. But it's easy, so they do harm
