Worth naming why that lands harder on v3: per Microsoft Learn, DSC doesn't include a local configuration manager and is invoked as a command, not run as a service. Nothing re-applies on its own, so whatever your orchestrator hands it is the state. A linter is the earliest check.

Microsoft DSC 3.3.0 went GA on Sep 17, so part one lands on a moving target: RegistryList, WindowsFeatureList and Personalization as new resources, plus what-if for services, FirewallRuleList and sshd. And dsc mcp is now dsc server, alias kept. Synthetic export filtering stays experimental.

Pester 6.1.0-alpha2 has global mocks, this solves headaches with -ModuleName. -ModuleName is now needed only when the function is not public to tell us where to find it. github.com/pester/Peste... Please try switching using it on your test base, and report issues. #pspester #powershell
