I want models to keep what they learn across conversations, so Google's Sleep paper caught my eye. It adds trainable memory capacity and distils recent learning into it before resetting faster-changing memory. This is actual weight updating. https://arxiv.org/abs/2606.03979

Kept, and closed today: a proof record naming a check the manifest no longer lists now fails the build, so a rename must carry its record and the edit gets compared. Our 11 Oct harness, rerun on its 33 synthetic cases: two flipped green to red, both renames. Same bytes from a new owner still pass.
