I call it turning off the pain valve, haha.
Show PostTeeth are entirely genetics unfortunately. I had lousy dental hygiene through my 20s and didn't see a dentist for 10 years and when I finally did I didn't have a single cavity. "Howwww????" I asked. Said dentist, "I have patients who floss every day, brush 3x, mouth of garbage. Genetics." (Sorry!)
Show PostWhy does it always have to be my teeth? My expensive-ass fucking teeth??? Why can it never be something covered by OHIP? Genuinely very unfair that I have to decide between spending $1,000 just before Christmas and being in intense pain. I brush and floss three times a day!
Show PostInsurance will only cover $954 of it. The extraction is because I have another fractured root, and the bone around the tooth is starting to erode thanks to an infection. Thankfully (?) it’s also in a molar, so the missing tooth won’t be visible. Anyway. Two months before Christmas. Hell.
Show PostI’ve been putting off dealing with some dental stuff (when am I not), but then I had an incident that caused me intense pain, so I bit the bullet and got a referral to an endodontist. Anyway, I need two root canals and an extraction. The first root canal is in a molar and will cost $2,000. Jesus.
