THats awesome, I wish I could get back in the position to invest in tech like a UV printer. As for the technique its an anvil, a hammer, and annealing over and over as the work hardens to smooth out the details, then just running it through the mill over and over tighter each time (with lots | 1/2

I actually buy these to make my own sheets with, so if I had less of a queue I'd defo offer to hammer and roll some out for ya! It's probably just cheaper to buy tho. (thats what I do for my engraved silver these days, making sheets is TECHNICALLY cheaper but its a butt ton of work haha)

the thing i come back to, over and over--which stuff like LOWER DECKS got, and so much other latter-day trek has forgotten--is that the whole idea of trek is that they exist in a genuinely horrifying universe, but *choose* to pursue peace and diplomacy anyways... and it works.
