I'm sure different users of screen readers have individual preferences, but every guide I've seen and most of the users/educators I've spoken with tend to encourage more detail rather than less. They always emphasize describing the "why" of an image, not just "what".

Me, I think of the ones so odd that you don't see them in the big bite-size bags in the Halloween aisle. Stuff like Zagnut, Charleston Chew I couldn't even say that they're bad, just if they were better there'd probably be more demand
