When in northern Spain we saw several carved into the rock of an outcropping in the middle of a vineyard planted by medieval monks. If I’m being honest, it put me off the first couple of sips of the producer’s wine. But I persevered through a couple of bottles.

I also gave him a drawing I did in the autograph line the day before. He was very surprised and gracious and said he liked that I incorporated the Amnesty International symbol and we had a brief chat about his work to stop violence against women and domestic violence.

Hey, I never told this story on BlueSky! I got a photo op with Patrick Stewart at ECCC & just stood next to him 'cause I heard he didn't like to be touched, but then he put his arm around me saying, "Oh, we can get closer than that, darling". That's when they took the photo so I look a little nuts
