Of course, Deacon writes his column to heavily imply that it is Muslims who the police are referring to and totally ignores the fact that many headbanger Christians are heavily anti-Halloween. Social media is overflowing with clips of US evangelicals getting their kids to rebuke decorations.

I wasn't allowed to go anywhere near or do anything associated with Halloween as a kid because it was 'demonic', to the extent that when I was at a Brownie camp weekend which happened to fall on Halloween I had to sit on my own in the village hall basement while all the other girls had a party.
