Happy Reformation Sunday! “Though hordes of devils fill the land all threat'ning to devour us, we tremble not, unmoved we stand; they cannot over-pow'r us. Let this world's tyrant rage; in battle we'll engage! His might is doomed to fail; God's judgment must prevail! One little word subdues him.”

I just want to think about All Hallows Night and how much candy I have left and All Saints Day and what I might wear to church tomorrow and not about the election!

"Cloud of witness" is a fine way of describing the saints in heaven. I doubt T.S. Eliot could have done any better. Much respect fir the author of Hebrews. 🕯

🎵 And one was a soldier and one was a priest, And one was slain by a fierce wild beast, And there's not any reason, no, not the least, Why I shouldn't be one too! 🎵 Remembering a Sunday School class I taught on this hymn. 🕯Went very well. Kids those days.😊
