Finished up helping an elderly neighbor on fixed income with her old laptop. Upgraded her RAM to 8 gigs (Max it would take) and replaced a mechanical HD with an SSD. #Linux Mint now is the OS, and her old Acer is running like a new machine. She has chickens, paid me in jumbo eggs!! Everyone wins!!
Show PostMy nephew has asked me to help his son build a computer, but doesn't want to spend more than $300 for a "gaming #PC." I'm planning on replacing my 3060 gfx card & #AMD 7700X with a new cpu & a new card and was thinking of donating my old card & processor. They are in great condition. Thoughts?
