A handful of CTA bus drivers and supervisors celebrated their retirement yesterday, and I learned that they're each gifted a bus stop sign depicting a custom-drawn "bus route" that originates at the garage they were based out of and goes to the block they live on, which is very cute

applied for 'assistant bus planner' a few weeks ago—received a straight-up rejection today ...guys, I am not a transport planning genius, but can having worked on a fully implemented bus network reform project for 500k/day be worth at least a chat? ugh
