I still feel obligated to say something, though, because they were titans to me. I was raised on Star Trek. An embarrassing amount of my moral compass is based directly on the principled clarity of their on-screen portrayals, as well as those of their cast members.

This is... frustrating. Any other time I would feel devastated by the losses of Patrick Stewart and Walter Koenig, and I am, but I can't feel it. I am just too emotionally exhausted by my own life.
