In September, my mom was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Two weeks ago, they said it was stage 4. I spent four very intense days last week caring for her before asking for help. She spent one night in a lovely hospice house and died there Monday morning. Fuck cancer. Hug your loved ones for me.
